Memorial Day Cook-Out with Printables

With the big kick off to Summer this weekend?Memorial Day, we thought you might enjoy some ideas for your Memorial Day Cook-Out! I?m just tickled with how everything came together! And with the help of Charlotte from The Paper Cupcake, the printables made everything perfect!

We will sharing the recipes, decorations and printables over the next few days, so stay tuned right here and on Pocket Change Gourmet for all the fun details!

The Memorial Day Printables are my favorite, but after that, I think, the Serving Platter is next. Inspired by The Style Sisters, I used my pedestal cake platter, cut off the waist band of an old pair of blue jeans, and while I was working on the food, Doug sewed the waist band to the platter with a large needle and twine. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen him working on that, yesterday. Then I tied 2 red?bandannas together and threaded them through the loops like a belt.

To hold the silverware, I cut off the pockets from the same pair of jeans, wrapped the silverware in a napkin, put them in the pockets and placed them in a red plastic pail.

Now it was time for the food?for the main dish, we served up a Hot Dog Bar, complete with a Chicago Dog, Taco Dog, Chili Cheese Dog, and Tex-Mex Dog. Pop on over to Pocket Change Gourmet for those recipes and more grilling ideas for your cook-out!

Another yummy recipe?Pizza Pasta Salad served in a clear glass bowl, with the adorable tented cards from The Paper Cupcake.

Inspired by the Rainbow Fruit Skewers we shared for St. Patrick?s Day, these Flag Fruit Kabobs go perfectly with the red, white & blue printables and decorations.

The red, white & blue drinks are all dressed up with adorable drink wraps, also designed by The Paper Cupcake!
